This.
I had to go somewhere RIGHT before the end of a game. Figured I’d stream at least the audio with Comcast since I’ve done it before with other things. As soon as I left the driveway it cut out and an an error popped up that I wasn’t allowed to stream it other than on my home WiFi. It was a local team so I went looking for it on the radio. But couldn’t pick up the station (my old car has signal issues).
Apparently leaving my house meant they couldn’t be certain they shouldn’t black out the game. 🙄

This year. Historically when they get down they stay there.

The NFLs YouTube channel is the best way to watch games. You can watch all the meaningful plays of a game in 10-20 minutes. They also put up a lot of highlight clips. And everything is usually up with an hour or less of the game ending.

They are now 10-0 when coming back from behind one score, so how are they not known for their fight? I just don’t understand lol

I'm sure if one child was stabbing another you might reconsider. I hear what you're saying though and agree

It was actually the gritty curse that got ‘em. Every time some other team mocks the gritty come back mode is enabled

You could also blame the offense for only scoring 3 points in the second half.

They want you to see football as a premium product like a high end cable channel. Not as a filler set of free content with another sub. Amazon will absolutely not offer it free to Prime members and it’ll be a separate channel offer for sure.
I think the NFL is being short sighted here. I cut the cord and thought I’d miss football. Now, I’m glad it’s out of my Sunday life and realized I only watched it because others were. The games are really long and bloated with commercials and unnecessary breaks.

If apple sticks it on AppleTv+ you don’t need an Apple device. They have an app for most platforms now. Got a game console? You probably have appletv+ access. Same goes for PC, android, etc, they don’t care as long as you pay their subscription fee.

It sounds like Apple wanted the ability to distribute globally on their platform(s). That makes a ton of sense for Apple and NFL fans worldwide but not for the NFL as they probably have distribution agreements already setup with local companies so it's a non-starter. Apple also wanted to get rid of local blackouts. Great idea but also probably tied up by agreements already in place with teams, stadiums, city governments, vendors, etc. There's a lot of hands in the cookie jar little hope of removing them. What's best for fans is usually not best for all the people making money from the product.

I was sitting right near the media table during the game. After the game was over, a bunch of dolphins fans were throwing snowballs trying to hit Josh Allen as he was approaching the set. After the bills fans saw that, that group of Fins Fans had a hell fire of snowball rain down on them and they quickly fled the scene

I'm with you. I was a little against Apple owning it, but only because I don't own any Apple products. I would have certainly picked something up if they got the NFL Sunday Ticket package, but I'll take anybody that can offer a reliable option to stream the games which DirecTV wasn't truly offering.

They were also throwing snowballs into the media table after the game, which was hilarious. One of the announcers seemed to be glaring at the fans

So what?! If Apple wants to eat the costs, let them! I do not see the issue and it feels incredibly greedy by the NFL

This is why I don't think unconditional love exists. It's hypothetical because everyone thinks the people they love aren't capable of being evil.
