True. There were many envious/incredulous Lions fans comparing the franchises after that year, like wtf?! They were supposed to be just like us!

As a Steelers fan, our 8 game rebuild was devastating. I feel bad for so many other teams' fans now that we've felt their pain.

We were rebuilding from the Leinart + Kevin Kolb experiments at that point - somehow the stars aligned to have warner and fitz on the same team at the same time and kept them both healthy. we rebuilt for that one glorious season. that was it

I mean without a doubt Buddy Ryan was the best AZ coach ever....but we went there with Wisenhunt who just so happened to luck out on Fitz and Warner somehow at the perfect time cause he was NOT a great coach

Who is the best coach you’ve had? This comment reminded me that the Cards had a close loss in the Super Bowl.

I get having a great QB. I just never saw Kylar as that guy.

Their decision to sign Murray to a terrible extension, when the writing was already clearly on the wall, will set them back a decade.

He took the job as long as he was allowed to take Kyler Murray at #1 in the draft. Factoring his height and the seriousness of the leg injury, Murray may not be good for much longer. Look at Russell Wilson... a short QB that has lost a step when it comes to scrambling. Murray is even shorter and can't see over his OL's heads unless he drops back 7+ steps or gets outside. The Cards may be in rebuild mode soon.

My suggestion is that many people suddenly become "religious" during a crisis. Probably more than a suggestion and more of a fact. At such times in people's lives, everything changes, and everything becomes worthwhile if it makes them feel better
