You have to consider water temperature as well. If it is less than 10C and god forbid something happens he can’t stay in the water for too long. I’m sure he’s prepared for all of that.

Athletes take PEDS for one simple reason: They work. More strength and speed and better recovery. The recovery is key because then you can push yourself even harder while training, leading to more strength and speed gains. Anyone who says otherwise is completely clueless and frankly it's silly to even respond to them.
