No idea what was going on with the lens flare in the photo. Admittedly I put literally 0 effort into taking it and thought it'd fit here

Yep! My uncle also had em professionally graded and cased before sending em. Apparently mine are worth about 62 dollars each. Obviously not gonna sell them tho. Also got a penny from 1897 as well.

Fun fact: we actually have to start transcribing books in about May before the year we need them because it takes about 14 months to transcribe, print, proofread, and repeat for the whole thing.

Nice find. I got an uncle whose a coin collector himself. Over the years ive received 3 morgan silver dollar coins from 1897 as gifts (100 years older than me) coins sure did look pretty back then opposed to the same old boring modern prints

I'm curious if the braille version tells you the corresponding page numbers.

Oh, does that mean it's less likely you'll confuse it for milk because it's not in a bag?

I realize you've used it correctly "by the book", but when you really think about it, does that phrase actually make sense to you? Because it never has with me.
We are how we are. And we have an age. That age progresses and some of us keep pace with it, some of us stay below it, and some of us, unfortunately, go above it.
In the case of Mr. Reynolds, he's managed to let age continue higher while not staying at pace with it.
So, in my mind, what you're saying now is, he's finally catching up with his age...
At least that's what my mind does with it all.
